Estas llaves reflectantes de fibra óptica UM55PCV2 PN están equipadas para su uso con cables de fibra óptica de vidrio, pero pueden utilizarse con o sin ellos. El transmisor y el receptor se encuentran en una sola carcasa. El sensor evalúa la luz transmitida reflejada por el objeto y la salida se conmuta en cuanto un objeto pasa por el rango seleccionado. Los objetos brillantes reflejan más luz que los oscuros, por lo que pueden reconocerse a mayor distancia.
