We all know that the linear bearing blocks (linear bearing slider) can work with high precision. Linear slide rail has become the necessary part. Today we will discuss some tips when selecting a slide rail replacement.

Normally, the rail maximum length is 4000mm. If clients require a very long guide rail length exceeding the maximum length of a guide rail, like 5276mm length, it cannot be shipped by air. Also, we have no such long rail. We need to use splicing to connect the guide rails.

We need to know:

It is better to cut the guide rail length within 2 meters. Consider the longest length including the packaging is 2.2m by air.

Usually, the two ends distance T1 and (T1) are the same. Offer the length of guide rail’s T1 and (T1) so we can cut the guide rail as the client’s request.

Also, it is a replacement guide rail from the original machine. The client needs to check the two ends distance T1 and (T1) value and total length on the machine to ensure every hole matches.

If you use two guide rails in parallel continuously, to avoid the discrepancy of accuracy when the linear bearing block passes through the joint at the same time, it is recommended to stagger the joint positions, like the below picture.
