The tool holder pull stud is connected to the machine tool bayonet through the D part, and the G part is connected to the tool holder through the thread, ensuring a stable connection and transmitting axial force. One end of it is connected to the machine tool bayonet, and the other end is tightly connected to the tool holder. During operation, the axial force transmitted by the pull stud and the synergy between the pull rod joint and the pull stud enable the tool handle to be effectively tightened. When the cutting tool needs to be changed, it can be easily completed by simply loosening the tool handle.
The pull stud is suitable for a variety of machining centers, CNC machines, ordinary machine tools, and CNC machine tools, and the combination of arc joints and screw joints increases versatility of the tool holder and reduces production costs.
Classification of Pull stud standards: According to the shape and size of the tool handles, including BT, CAT, HSK, and other standards.
Features of pull stud: standardization, good interchangeability, high precision, and good rigidity, which can improve the efficiency and processing accuracy of the tool.
When the cutting tool is installed into the spindle, the pull stud at the rear of the tool handle will reach the front end of the spindle pull rod. Under the elastic action of the disc spring, the cutting tool is firmly clamped by the elastic claws.
When installing a pull stud, a special wrench should be used to ensure proper tightening force, and the recommended torque value should be followed to ensure correct installation. This can prevent the pull stud root from being worn or the pull stud neck from being bent.
Common misunderstandings:
Many people mistakenly believe that the tighter the better, but it is actually incorrect. An over-tightened pull stud will cause increased wear on the spindle during long-term use, thereby affecting the processing accuracy. More seriously, this may even cause the pull stud to break during the cutting process due to the stress it cannot withstand, thereby damaging the spindle.
Most of the pull stud is sold with tool holder, like BT40 Toolholder G1/2 Gas Tool Holder, ISO30 ER32 42L Tool Holders, NBT30-ER20-60L Tool Holder; they all include the pull stud. If you need other tool holder with pull stud, welcome your inquiry.
