These 2 flutes down-cut spiral bits can be used for cutting grooves, dadoes, and inlays.

Down cut bits don't clear chips as quickly as up-cut spiral bits but their down cut geometry pushes wood fibers down into the cut, leaving a cleaner top surface on your workpiece with minimal tear-out.

Downcut bits do require a slower feed rate and a lighter depth of cut is preferable.
