MITSUBISHI Internal Absolute Encoder for AC Servo Motor HF104S-A48
This built-in absolute encoder MITSUBISHI reference OSA18 is initially mounted on MITSUBISHI servo motors like the AC brushless rotary servo motor HF104S-A48.
Absolute encoders are feedback devices that provide speed and position information by outputting digital words or bits associated with motion. Unlike incremental encoders, which output a ubiquitous stream of continuous pulses, absolute encoders output a unique word or bit for each position.
Servomotor encoders detect the angle of rotation, speed, and distance travelled of moving machine parts and send position feedback to the controller. The controller sends electrical signals to a driver, which amplifies and converts the signals to a servo motor. The servo motor rotates the output shaft to produce the correct torque and speed for the commanded position.
